Phase 3: Get found

SEO, GEO and content. Found by the right people, on Google and in AI answers.

SEO makes sure your organisation shows up on Google exactly when someone searches for what you offer. GEO does the same for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity. Good content drives both.

SEO & local SEO

Visible when someone searches for you

Search engine optimisation brings your website into the unpaid results on Google. We analyse how your website performs today, research what your potential customers actually search for, and optimise texts, headings, page titles and technical details so Google immediately understands what each page is about.

For local businesses the Google Business Profile is often the fastest lever. When someone searches for a service near them, Google shows the map results first, and only three businesses appear there. Complete data, the right categories, regular posts, photos and good reviews decide who they are.

Be realistic about timing: first measurable improvements usually show after 4 to 8 weeks, noticeably more visitors after 3 to 6 months. If you need results next week, Google Ads is the better choice. More detail on this service in German: SEO.

GEO / AI search

Visible where AI gives the answers

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimisation: everything that makes AI systems such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews or Perplexity mention your organisation and cite it as a source. In classic search people choose from ten links. In AI search they read one answer, and you are either in it or not.

AI systems prefer sources that are clearly worded, come from a trusted website and can be read by their crawlers. In practice that means clear answers to common questions, structured data (schema markup), consistent information about you across your website, directories and profiles, and crawler access for bots such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot.

Measured on our own website: between March and September 2026, AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity fetched our pages more than 3,500 times while answering users' questions. The llms.txt file, often recommended as the key to AI visibility, was requested by AI crawlers around 30 times in the same period. What counts is the content of the pages themselves.

GEO does not replace SEO, it builds on it: AI answers favour sources that already rank well in classic search and are mentioned widely. More detail on this service in German: GEO / AI-Optimierung.

Content marketing

Content that ranks and builds trust

Content marketing means creating content that is genuinely useful for your audience. Instead of fighting for attention with ads, you answer the questions your potential customers already have. Without good content Google has nothing to rank and ChatGPT nothing to cite.

We start with research: what your audience searches for, with which intent, and where you can give a better answer than the current results. From that comes an editorial plan, then articles, landing pages or FAQ pages. The first 40 to 60 words after the headline answer the question directly, because search engines and AI systems prefer exactly that part.

Quality beats quantity: one well-researched article per month brings more than four rushed ones. You can write the texts yourself with our plan and SEO support, or we write them. We use AI for research and first drafts, but every text is checked, edited and adapted to your voice. More detail on this service in German: Content Marketing.

Questions

Questions about SEO, GEO & content

First measurable improvements usually show after 4 to 8 weeks. Noticeably more visitors typically come after 3 to 6 months. Local search terms often move faster than national ones.
SEO optimises your website for the classic Google results. GEO optimises your content to be cited in AI-generated answers. They complement each other, because AI systems prefer sources that already rank well and are clearly structured.
Not directly. But you can make sure the right information is available: on your website, in directories and through schema markup. The clearer and more consistent your online presence, the more accurate the AI answer.
Especially for them. On niche topics there are often only a few good sources, so a small organisation with clear answers has a real chance of being cited.
Google Ads are paid: you are visible immediately and disappear when you stop paying. SEO takes longer, but brings lasting traffic without click costs. The best approach usually combines both.
In most cases, no. Targeted changes to texts, page titles and technical structure are often enough. In the first consultation we look at your website and tell you honestly what makes sense.
